Joe “Sep” Hendrickson is a radio show host, outdoor writer, author, photographer, tackle innovator, seminar speaker, television personality and avid angler and hunter.  He and his wife and partner, Marilyn, travel to locations where they can enjoy their love of the outdoors.  They are devoted to fishing for trophy-sized trout and kokanee salmon in many Western States, Canada and Alaska.  Sep is an avid chukkar, quail, pheasant and turkey hunter, and he particularly enjoys hunting wild boar.  Marilyn participates by bringing the camera and recording their various excursions.

Sep makes many guest appearances on television and radio shows and is an informative, instructional source of information.  He is a popular seminar speaker, particularly when covering the art of freshwater trolling.  He is often requested to act as MC and guest speaker at outdoor functions.

Sep is host of the award-winning “California Sportsmen” Radio Show on KHTK 1140 AM Sacramento, Saturdays from 6:00-8:00 AM.  Sep and Marilyn also own “Ultimate Bass” Radio Show, KHTK 1140 AM, from 5:00-6:00 AM, hosted by Bass Pro Kent Brown.

Sep and Marilyn were innovators and manufacturers of Sep’s Pro Fishing tackle for over 20 years, and led the industry in designing and promoting ultra-light tackle and techniques.  They are book authors, columnists and photographers and regularly furnish articles and photographs for many outdoor publications.  They are active members of Outdoor Writers Association of California.  They are lifetime members of California Inland Fisheries Foundation, Inc. – Sep is Executive Director, Marilyn is Vice-President.

It’s coming soon!  The new comprehensive, current and revised “Trolling Truths” is almost a done deal!  The re-print of the book is being finalized by the publisher and should be available before long.  Some chapters, mostly covering basics, remain somewhat the same as they were in Book One, but in many cases, more has been added as techniques, tactics and tackle evolved and changed. We hope you enjoy and learn from this new edition…we’ll keep you posted on when it will hit the market!
